It’s been just over a week since we released “Story Goes On” and we are truly humbled by the response we’ve received.

First and foremost, we want to thank our families and friends here in Nyköping who, as always, are the first ones to embrace everything we put out. Your support means more than words can describe – you were there from the very beginning and you’re still here. Thank you. And to all our listeners here in Sweden – tack så mycket. You are the foundation of everything we do.

But something unexpected has been happening beyond our borders. The numbers from our social media campaigns have been nothing short of extraordinary – with over 100,000 impressions and 34,000+ interactions across Europe in just a few days, Spain emerging as our strongest market by far.

And then this happened. We recently sent out our press release for “Story Goes On” to a number of Spanish rock media contacts. One of them was J.A. Lux – reviewer at Metal Hammer España and host of Rock D’Lux on Vive! Radio. His response blew us away:

In just one week since the release, the outpouring of support has exceeded any expectations we might have had. Your positive response has not only been overwhelming but has also served as a source of immense encouragement and motivation for us. As you already know, our debut single is only the beginning. We have more releases on the horizon, and we will announce a second single this upcoming week. It will be another taste of our coming debut album, scheduled for release at the end of February.

Hey everyone, long time no see!

One of our last posts back in spring 2024 was about a Swedish hard rock podcast in Stockholm, where we had the chance to chat for an hour about our debut album. During the interview, we got hit with an unexpected question: If they arranged a gig at one of Sweden’s music festivals, would we show up and play live?

Honestly, when we first recorded the songs, our only goal was to collect some old and new material, release them on Spotify, and share them with family and friends. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect the album to rack up over 170,000 streams in its first year and land on 7,900 playlists!

So far, we’ve had 53,000 listeners worldwide, with most of you tuning in from the U.S., Germany, Brazil, and Spain, besides our home country, Sweden. Our music has even made it onto radio stations in the U.S., Mexico, Spain, the U.K. and just recently, Poland! – not to mention our very first interview, which was done by our local radio station just days after we released our debut single, Hammerdown.

We can’t thank you enough for the love and support! It’s been an incredible ride, and we appreciate every single one of you.

So… What’s Next?

The big question last summer was, What now? Many of you asked if we’d form a band and play live. Thomas decided to take the summer off to focus on songwriting first and see if there was more music waiting to be written. Just like in 2020—when the songs for our debut album were born—this creative break would perhaps turn into something bigger.

And that brings us to today, almost a year after we were in the middle of releasing our first three singles. So, what now? Well… stay tuned, because things are about to happen!

Let’s kick things off with something special: our debut album is coming to vinyl! We’re also launching our very own merch shop, where you can grab your copy of the vinyl LP, along with some awesome t-shirts and accessories.

Hey everyone, exciting news! We’re back in the studio, working on our second full-length album. Our debut took nearly four years to complete before its release in 2024, but this time, things are moving much faster. We can’t wait to share brand-new songs with you!

Right now, we’re focusing on the first batch of five tracks. They’re still evolving, but we’re beyond excited about the new material. The creative process has been just as fun as last time, and it truly feels like a continuation of our debut.

Thomas started writing new songs last summer, building on ideas that surfaced during the recording of our first album. Songwriting is unpredictable—you never know where it will take you. But somehow, we always end up with plenty of material to record, and here we go again!

The response to our debut album, The Rebel Saints, has been amazing, especially with singles like Hammerdown, Said and Done, and Woman. This new material stays true to our sound while bringing fresh energy and depth.

As always, the chemistry between Thomas Anderberg (vocals, bass, keyboards, and drum programming) and Ola Berg (guitar and backing vocals) is the driving force behind everything we do. Get ready for some new tracks that will blow you away!

It’s been a while since we last checked in, but trust us – we haven’t been sitting still.

After the incredible response to our debut album in 2024, we’ve spent the past year doing what we love most: writing and recording new music. And now, we’re ready to share the first taste of what’s been brewing in the studio.

Our new single “Story Goes On” drops on Wednesday, March 4th – and in many ways, the title says it all. This song is about the journey. The kind that doesn’t have a clear beginning or end, the kind that keeps pulling you forward no matter what. While the song has personal roots in our own musical adventure, we’ve written it to be something anyone can connect with. Because at the end of the day, we all have a story that goes on.

“Story Goes On” marks the beginning of a new chapter for The Rebel Saints. A new album is in the works, and this is the first piece of a bigger picture we can’t wait to show you.

This is a hectic week with everything happening at the same time. Nevertheless, we are so excited that we are finally here. Our debut single is in the progress of being released, at the same time as we keep working in the recording studio with the final touches on the upcoming album.

The TRS website is going to be a work in progress, as we don’t really know what is going to happen. Our goal was to record an album together and release it to the public, which we are doing right now. At the same time we are releasing this website to publish news, songs, stories, documentaries and other information at one and the same place.

The social media channels will be used for announcements of new releases and other stuff that happens in the TRS universe.

The Rebel Saints (TRS) proudly announces the debut single ‘Hammerdown’. The song was originally written and recorded 30 years ago and was rearranged and rewritten in 2020. ‘Hammerdown’ was the first song on the list when Thomas and Ola Berg started working together in the recording studio in January 2021.

3 years later, ‘Hammerdown’ is the first song to be released from the upcoming debut album ‘The Rebel Saints’. The song is one of several songs to come that has never been released. “It’s instant happiness to finally be able to release these songs to the public after all these years. We have had so much fun writing and recording it, and we hope people have just as much fun listening to it.”

The Rebel Saints (TRS) proudly announces the second single “Said And Done”. This is one of the new songs, written during the winter/spring of 2021. The song was one of the first that had keyboards added to it when Thomas and Ola started to record it in the fall the same year.

“Said And Done” is the second song to be released from the upcoming debut album ‘The Rebel Saints’. “We have tried to encapsulate the essence of classic 70s and 80s hard rock, with a heavy, pumping rhythm and tons of energy. Hopefully the song will take people back to a nostalgic era while it still delivers a fresh, modern sound.”
