TRS Vinyl – Made in Sweden
After searching all over Europe for a company to press our debut album on vinyl, we finally found the perfect fit right here in Sweden. The result was well worth the wait, and we are now releasing the first 200 albums as a Deluxe Quality 180-gram vinyl LP.

About the Songs on the LP
We knew from the start that we wouldn’t be able to fit all the songs from the digital release, as a vinyl LP has a maximum of 23 minutes per side. So, we carefully selected the 9 most popular songs on Spotify in 2024 to feature on this special edition.

Hey everyone, long time no see!

One of our last posts back in spring 2024 was about a Swedish hard rock podcast in Stockholm, where we had the chance to chat for an hour about our debut album. During the interview, we got hit with an unexpected question: If they arranged a gig at one of Sweden’s music festivals, would we show up and play live?

Honestly, when we first recorded the songs, our only goal was to collect some old and new material, release them on Spotify, and share them with family and friends. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect the album to rack up over 170,000 streams in its first year and land on 7,900 playlists!

So far, we’ve had 53,000 listeners worldwide, with most of you tuning in from the U.S., Germany, Brazil, and Spain, besides our home country, Sweden. Our music has even made it onto radio stations in the U.S., Mexico, Spain, the U.K. and just recently, Poland! – not to mention our very first interview, which was done by our local radio station just days after we released our debut single, Hammerdown.

We can’t thank you enough for the love and support! It’s been an incredible ride, and we appreciate every single one of you.

So… What’s Next?

The big question last summer was, What now? Many of you asked if we’d form a band and play live. Thomas decided to take the summer off to focus on songwriting first and see if there was more music waiting to be written. Just like in 2020—when the songs for our debut album were born—this creative break would perhaps turn into something bigger.

And that brings us to today, almost a year after we were in the middle of releasing our first three singles. So, what now? Well… stay tuned, because things are about to happen!

Let’s kick things off with something special: our debut album is coming to vinyl! We’re also launching our very own merch shop, where you can grab your copy of the vinyl LP, along with some awesome t-shirts and accessories.

The Rebel Saints (TRS) are releasing their self-titled debut album for those who enjoy classic melodic 70s/80s hard rock. The album is a mix of old songs written in the 1990s that have never been released, combined with new ones written along the way during a 3-year recording process. The debut single, “Hammerdown,” was released in January 2024, followed by two more singles, “Said And Done” and “Woman,” released in February.

The singles make up 3 out of the 12 songs on the debut album, which is now being released on selected digital platforms and will also be released on vinyl in the future. “It’s a joy to finally release these songs to the public after this insanely fun musical journey. We hope that everyone who has enjoyed what we’ve released so far will continue to get a kick out of what we’ve done.”

This is independent, locally produced Swedish hard rock. Crank it up in the car, at home, or at a party with friends. Play it loud!

Right now we are fully preparing for the upcoming album release. The single releases have exceeded all expectations, which wasn’t that difficult really, as we didn’t have any expectations, as mentioned before. We’re releasing this album mainly because we’ve had so much fun writing and recording together again, and we want to share that joy with anyone who wants to listen.

We’re currently polishing and mixing the final touches this week and will release as soon as we’re ready. It’s been a large and lengthy production, counting 3 years and a month today, since our first day in the studio on January 27, 2021.

The response to the songs we’ve released so far has been overwhelming. We never thought we would receive the reception we have and that so many would enjoy our music. According to statistics on Spotify Artists yesterday, our singles are currently featured on around 470 playlists worldwide, and the songs have been streamed over 9,400 times in total. We’ve managed to reach over 5,000 listeners during our first weeks on Spotify with the 3 singles we’ve released. Additionally, Spotify is just one of several major international music platforms we’re on.

Now, the singles that have been released are just a taste of what’s to come. There are 9 more songs on the upcoming album, and we’re truly looking forward to continuing this journey with ya’ll. Again, a big thank you to everyone who follows and supports us, all the positive comments, and everyone who has listened to and continues to listen to our music. You have exceeded all our expectations!

The Rebel Saints (TRS) proudly announces the third single “Woman”. This is one of the first new songs Thomas Anderberg wrote after the remake of “Hammerdown” in 2020. The song was written especially for Ola Bergs guitar playing style. Keyboards was added to the song during the recordings in 2021 to heighten the 80s hard rock feel.

The Rebel Saints (TRS) proudly announces the second single “Said And Done”. This is one of the new songs, written during the winter/spring of 2021. The song was one of the first that had keyboards added to it when Thomas and Ola started to record it in the fall the same year.

“Said And Done” is the second song to be released from the upcoming debut album ‘The Rebel Saints’. “We have tried to encapsulate the essence of classic 70s and 80s hard rock, with a heavy, pumping rhythm and tons of energy. Hopefully the song will take people back to a nostalgic era while it still delivers a fresh, modern sound.”

The Rebel Saints (TRS) proudly announces the debut single ‘Hammerdown’. The song was originally written and recorded 30 years ago and was rearranged and rewritten in 2020. ‘Hammerdown’ was the first song on the list when Thomas and Ola Berg started working together in the recording studio in January 2021.

3 years later, ‘Hammerdown’ is the first song to be released from the upcoming debut album ‘The Rebel Saints’. The song is one of several songs to come that has never been released. “It’s instant happiness to finally be able to release these songs to the public after all these years. We have had so much fun writing and recording it, and we hope people have just as much fun listening to it.”

This is a hectic week with everything happening at the same time. Nevertheless, we are so excited that we are finally here. Our debut single is in the progress of being released, at the same time as we keep working in the recording studio with the final touches on the upcoming album.

The TRS website is going to be a work in progress, as we don’t really know what is going to happen. Our goal was to record an album together and release it to the public, which we are doing right now. At the same time we are releasing this website to publish news, songs, stories, documentaries and other information at one and the same place.

The social media channels will be used for announcements of new releases and other stuff that happens in the TRS universe.
